I’m still new to this whole dealing with  haters people who are insecure about themselves thing. Is this a good way to handle it? I will hug this girl and never let her go, all while whispering in her ear that things will get better for her, if I ever get the chance.

Goldfathers on National Geographic: Rules to Gold Panning

Remember how I grew up in Alaska and my parents are all into gold and land and natural resources? Well, my siblings and I went up to Alaska last summer to prospect for gold on 10,000 acres of patented land my parents own. It just so happens, Prospector Productions was also there to film the whole thing for a show called “Goldfathers” on Nat Geo. It premiers this Friday, May 4th at 10:00pm. Here’s some behind the scenes pictures. This is a shot of my Dad being all like “blah blah blah gold blah blah blah”. Ok, calm down Dad, we get it. There’s gold on your land, just tell me where to go and I’ll bring my stupid shovel.

The first rule to gold panning: Make sure you look cuter than the person finding gold next to you. This is very important to remember.

The second rule to gold panning: Make sure you always open up to camera, in other words, get right in front of that bad boy! Obviously my sisters are breaking that rule, not sure why, it’s nearly as important as the first rule!

Rule #3 to being a master gold panner: When you are done finding gold, stay at the trough and make sure the cameras are on you as you drop knowledge like “gold is really heavy” and “hurry up guys, finding gold is not as important as getting coffee.”

Rule #4 to killing it at gold panning: Spend some time bullsh*tting about Gold. Like “Hey Dad, one time I found a gold nugget that was bigger than a bear but it actually was a bear now that I think about it!” He will totally buy the story even though you are just making the whole thing up to kill time.

Truth be told, sometimes I just wanted to be left alone but the cameras were always in my face. Omg, that entire last sentence is completely false, you guys know me better than that!

I really hope you guys tune in on Friday, May 4th at 10:00pm to Goldfathers on National Geographic. It’s five days away so I feel like I’m giving you enough warning. If you don’t watch it, consider how bad you will hurt after I kick you in the shin as punishment.

I am having the most romantic twitter fling of all time with Jose Canseco. I’m pretty sure somebody is going to make a movie about it one day. For now, all I have is this award winning video.

Oh, hi friends! I shot this video for College Humor last month and noticed they just put it up on Youtube. So I was thinking maybe you will watch it?

Remember how I shot that show in Alaska all last summer? The one for National Geographic? Goldfathers something or other? It’s the new goldmining show that premiers May 4th on Nat Geo at 10pm. Anyways, when I wasn’t busy finding gold everywhere I looked, I took some behind the scenes footage from my sweet, beautiful, iphone 4.

I recently made a documentary that’s won both Audience Choice Award 2012 and Best Director 2012. So I am pleased to (finally) officially release the trailer. Warning: lots of nudity, sex, beer, rock and roll, kicking, screaming and every else bad thing you can think of!

Happy National Kissing Day! I made this kissing tutorial video to celebrate!

Remember the other day when I was like “hey guys, I have a show coming out on May 4th on National Geographic blah blah blah”?

Me neither, either way, Nat Geo just put up this teaser video of me and my family Gold Panning on their website. Ok, well I gotta get back to conquering the world now, just thought I’d let you know this video is up if you want to check it out.
